hey Overfloater, if you're still out there! what about patton's opinion on other bandmates which you so harshly expressed.... did he tell you this in private?)))) or have you heard or read it otherwise in these very words? if so, than could you give a reference link or quote it?

the reunion is right here now, as we know. live in present!

mike did all his best stuff with FNM and Bungle. he's put out alot of garbage too but theres some gold in that stuff too. Fantomas and Tomahawk i dont really care for i got their last album signed by Mike and i still havent listend to it haha! FLESH- you are extememly right!

who cares about fucking FNM re-unions. if it happens it will be shit like all the others that are happening now. what i think would be more interesting is to see Gould and Patton and Spruance in on a project together. or something like that :)

by the way...trevor is a real dumbass and is a prime example of a patton whore..

Trevor Says:

Patton made FNM. Before him they were an OK band that we probably would have never heard from again. About patton’s career being dried up…maybe to mainstream people. But Mike makes music that pleases himself, If we happen to like it (which i always do) then thats cool but not a priority. Gould was a good bass player, and Bordin an amazing guitarist. FNM will never have a reunion as FNM because thats a thing of the past and mike is always moving forward. I would love to see him do something with some of the members again, only please…dont let bottum sing back up. He was just horrendous live.

FLESH--- by the way kid. bordin was the drummer, not the guitarist.... patton didnt make faith no more, it was actually gould who founded them along with bordin, roddy and jim and finally.if patton only makes music to please himself, he should keep it to himself..so, if he does decide to keep his boring music to himself, maybe you can arrange something with M.P trevor if you're feelin left out and all. he can send you his music..... im sure mike patton will understand your innate desire for hearing farts in cans seeing that you're on the same wavelength with him and both belong in genius-ville.

i hear some chuck mosely bashing going on in here and that really pisses me off... especially when comming from supposed fnm "fans".... chuck mosely was an extreme vocalist and a true badass. you can even hear mosely's influence in patton's singing in m,p's fnm years. in other words patton was influenced by mosely. he was a fan of faith no more even before singing for them!!!!. so to call yourself a fnm fan and openly disrespect mosely, would mean that you are either a fucking idiot, or you're just a patton whore.... you know, those little fuckers who will stand behind any album patton makes, preaching about how much of a "GOD" patton is no matter how shitty the album really is.... many of you whores think that patton is a genius and that you are not really supposed to understand his "music" but just appreciate it and maybe one day, you'l find out.... i think otherwise... i think patton understands the power he has over the large mass of patton whores out there and so he releases albums just to see how lame and gullable his fans really are and laughs about it with his bandmembers. think about it, how many mucisians out there can fart and squeal into a microphone, album after album and still make money?. only one. and why? yes that right!! because of patton whores!!.... cuz lets face it, if someone called "pedro gonzales" released pranzo, adult themes, and all the other garbage he released post fantomas, no one would buy them. ol pedro wouldnt be seen as a god. honestly.... pattons days were in faith no more and mr bungle.... ok fantomas are pretty cool and tomahawk passes i guess....... but if i had a chance to say something to patton, id tell him to stop dicking around with bullshit and start making the kind of music that we all want to hear from him... either that or he should really think of walking away gracefully, before its too late.

all people who liked Mr. Patton best on FNM should listen to the song "Get Up Punk! ... " from his General Patton vs the X-Ecutioners projekt ... that song sonds very FNMish imho ...

about a FNM reunion? hmn ... dunno, I never had the chance to see them live, and would like to ... but I don't belive it could happen in the near future if ever ...

I think you're kidding yourself, FNM RIP. Although I do know what you mean, I saw Fantomas in London on their Delirium Cordia tour and although I was excited to see Patton and his chums play live again, I did get a little bored during the set especially with a drone that was played for about 5 mins. I think experimentation is a good thing but you got to realise when its just crap. Patton could release an album of his farts and some of these people on here would find 'genius' in it. Tomahawk, I think is a fine example of clever experimentation and collaboration as it remains listenable and challenging at the same time.

I like the Mr. Bungle project which is dead now but none of the Patton's own projects impress me.
I've seen a couple of Patton's freak shows with John Zorn, only thing I can say interesting but it's nothing I would listen to at home.
I think Mike Patton can express his talent best with FAITH NO MORE, he is just made to sing for them. Sure Gould, Bottum and Puff can make good music too and sell a lot of it to radio stations just like Audioslave, Billy may as well write the guitar tracks and give a call to Martin and ask if he wants to play em.
My opinion is that Mike Patton without Gould, Bottum and Bordin is nothing and so is FAITH NO MORE without Mike Patton.
I still believe that I'll hear another FNM album.

I heard an interview with MP n he said that they had started writing bad music and when that happens its time to pull the plug. Simple as that, nothing to do with wounds left by Jim/Trey departing. And anyway I think if they got back together now or in a few years there would be something a bit sad about it, y'know like trying to re live the old days. Best to move fowards and create something new.
