To be honest, i just listened the whole work a couple of times, but im not able to give a judgement about it…. it’s just that i don’t know what to think about it… my brain has not “diggested” yet…
Anyway, i think Mike Patton is one of the greatest artists in the world.

WMBA – What album is Dub Trio’s version of “We’re Not Alone” on?

Don.. one of the differences that I noticed between We’re Not Alone on Peeping Tom vs the Dub Trio version is that the singing during the verses is mixed way down and in the background on the Peeping Tom version. On the Dub Trio version, the vocals are louder and have less of an atmosphere/reverb effect. I can also hear some little Patton vocal sounds layered in the background on the Peeping Tom version as well. Pretty subtle differences.. but they are there.

I completely agree with Mativs, promising to disappointing, and to me the production particularly the beats sound unfinished. I’m surprised that Patton released it as is. It’s not terrible by any means either but just not for me.
