Good find! I wonder who the guest is on the bonus track (assuming that there is a guest like all of the other tracks that will be on the album).
April 27th, 2006 at 8:22 PM
Hey, that Preschool song is pretty good. It’s better than some of the tunes that made the album…Maybe Patton is going to throw it on an Import.
April 27th, 2006 at 9:45 PM
Uh oh…the album torrent is out there…yes, I’ve heard it. Yes, it’s fantastic…have bought the EP on iTunes…so much waiting is now close to over!

Maybe it has been noted before, but does anyone else not see the irony in Peeping Tom that, as far as I can see, its not very pop and resembles many elements that Mike has done before on projects that are too alternative/avant garde for the ‘pop market’. I know Peeping Tom is tamed compared to, say, General Patton & Executioners and he’s said along that Peeping Tom is ‘may take on pop music’ but I’ve always been expecting more lush Burt Bacharach meets Les Baxtor meets whatever. But not the hiphop stuff like executioners/Lovage/Rahzel etc. There’s even a bit of the Tomahawk side of Mike.
Any hoo – it will be a great album but personally, not the album I’ve been expecting and, indeed, wanting (maybe its California but actually pop!) and I can’t see it being successful in the pop sense at all – nothing else has and like I said, the irony is Peeping Tom has just become a big collaberation act. I haven’t heard to whole album though, so someone slip me up and reveal the kinda stuff I’m talking about. I’l shut up now
April 28th, 2006 at 5:47 AM
Mojo good, Kill the DJ much better. To change the subject, does anybody know if tomahawk are releasing their new album this year, and if so, around what time?
April 28th, 2006 at 6:03 AM
I didn’t exactly wet my pants first time I listened to Mojo. But I like it more and more every time I listen to it. it grows a lot on you actually. There’s something in the way it’s building up that kinda pulls you along, which is pretty cool.
the same goes for pre school. very hooky stuff without being over catchy.
April 28th, 2006 at 6:17 AM
I wonder if there’s gonna be a retail single release of this? I’m loving the album cover themes =)
April 28th, 2006 at 3:58 PM
Could be DJ muggs on pre school.
Jorkk “I didn’t exactly wet my pants first time I listened to Mojo. But I like it more and more every time I listen to it. it grows a lot on you actually. There’s something in the way it’s building up that kinda pulls you along, which is pretty cool.”

April 29th, 2006 at 1:19 PM
Been listening to the cd for a couple days now. I’d have to say it’s a mix between Lovage and General Patton. I think he could’ve popped it up more. I thought he was going over the top POP like Justin Timberlake or something. It’s just a continuation of his hip hop artistic views
April 29th, 2006 at 10:13 PM
justin timberlake?! WTF is wrong with you!!?!!? True patton fans are showing their true colors now. Make as many associations as you want, but the only commonthing this have is mikes voclas and brillance.
End of that shit.
April 30th, 2006 at 4:25 AM
FY I, whether done “ironicaly” or not, Patton did perform a couple of Jennifer Lopez songs during the Lovage tour, as well as a Justin Timberlake song with The Dillinger Escape Plan on New Year’s Eve three years ago. Not to mention the Burt Bacharach/Engleburt Humperdink/Commodors covers with Faith No More. Just saying.
April 30th, 2006 at 5:33 AM
Well that was a joke Don, don’t take it so…serious man!
April 30th, 2006 at 10:03 AM
All I’m saying is it should have been POP like he’s been saying for the past 6 years not hip hop. We downloaded the demos 4 years ago and there’s a slight change to 1 demo song and the others that made it only the lyrics changed. I’m a huge Patton fan but wished he did something else Peeping Tom other then a continuation of General Patton
April 30th, 2006 at 3:53 PM
I’ve been listening to the album, and basically a lot of the lyrics really annoy me because they’re the type of dumb, meaningless shit which I always avoid listening to. Patton may well be doing it as a stab at pop music, I don’t know, but even so, it doesn’t really change much. But I’ve got songs like Mojo and Don’t Even Trip stuck in my head all the time, I like the singing he does on them.
May 1st, 2006 at 2:01 AM
Already downloaded the whole album, its wonderfull!!!!
May 1st, 2006 at 4:29 AM
Listen to the lyrics again. Mojo is brilliant as a satire against pop music.
Cheers!

Sing A Happy Song, Sing A Sad Song, Do the White Lines, Powder Your Nose, TV Character Dies. (dies)
May 1st, 2006 at 10:24 AM
to those who downloaded the album: will it be worth the wait?
May 1st, 2006 at 12:16 PM
Well, thats a difficult question to answer, it depends on your own personal expectations for the album. You should download ‘Your Neighbourhood Spaceman’ and ‘Celebrity Death Match’ to get a taste of the album so you’ll have an idea of what to expect. Oh, and Patton mentions Will and Grace and Meg Ryan on the album, so that makes it kind of unique for a Patton project.

Anyone notice that Your Neighborhood Spaceman’s verse has a melody similar to Spice Girls’ Say You’ll Be There’s chorus?
=P
May 2nd, 2006 at 5:38 AM
And Mr. Bungles ‘Everybody I Went To Highschool With Is Dead’ rips off the Bee Gees ‘Stayin Alive’. Honest, listen closely.
May 2nd, 2006 at 6:03 PM
Hey man, thats kool, i have listened mojo several times, like the whole album, am still analyzin it but by now i can say that i dig why patton wanted this song to be the first single, there are a couple of changes in a few songs (in terms of music style) but this one is very representative from the album. However, i think that there are another songs as well that perfectly can accomplish the requirements for a song to be the first single of an album…….
anyway……….still listening
May 3rd, 2006 at 12:35 AM
This is the best stuff I’ve heard anywhere in the last five years. Closest thing we’ll ever get to Faith No More 2006.
May 3rd, 2006 at 2:38 PM
If you want good pop albums listen to early 1980s R.E.M. Oh, and Peeping Tom is great too.
May 3rd, 2006 at 5:00 PM
I gotta say I’m overall very disappointed with the album. First of all mike must have been smokin crack when he said this is a pop album. A couple of tunes are somewhat poppy, but to call this poppy in the context of other things he’s done in his career is very misleading. I’m a big Kool Keith fan and was REALLY excited to hear this collaboration. Keith has done some amazing stuff, and some amazing bad/lazy stuff. “Getaway” falls firmly in the latter category. It sounds like Keith laid down some insanely mediocre rhymes and mailed it to Mike. Mike then chopped it a bit with a dumb chorus and called it a day. I really doubt these guys were even in the same room with each other. That’s really indicative of many of the collaborations. Somewhere along the line Peeping Tom went from a pop idea to a collaboration record. Except it seems like nobody he collaborated with gave a shit to spend more than a day on their track. I’m not saying there’s nothing of worth on this thing – adult themes for voice it is not. But for something that took so long to finish, it is exceedingly mediocre. Mike may have jumped the shark with this thing.
May 3rd, 2006 at 5:54 PM
I might be a fucking idiot, but Tomahawk sounds alot more like FNM than Peeping Tom.
May 3rd, 2006 at 6:12 PM
i hope the second listen is better….i really thought the CD sounded very nu-metal like….
Tomahawk is by far the best thing since FNM
May 4th, 2006 at 8:57 AM
I can’t get this because I-Tunes won;t accept my switch card. Could I get a copy of this from someone if I send them a CD-R? I’d be eternally grateful because it’s not out ’til 29/5/06 here in the UK and i can’t wait to here this!!
May 4th, 2006 at 7:20 PM
I’ve been listening to Peeping Tom for over 2 weeks now and a good bit of it has grown on me a lot while other songs don’t do anything at all for me. I like the first 6 tracks and the very last one. Don’t know how Patton can call his “pop” by any means so it’s most likely a little joke he’s playing on all the fans who want to hear him sing more. I mean, Tomahawk sounds poppier than anything on this album. It sounds more like Patton doing trip-hop. By calling this album “pop” I was actually expecting it to sound more like FNM, where Patton’s poppiest sounding work has come from, IMO. The only song that sounds anything like FNM is “We’re Not Alone” which also happens to be my favorite song on the album.
As far as the lyrics go, yes, some of them are incredibly cheesy. If anyone knew from FNM Patton never cared much about the meaning of his lyrics. He was always more concerned with the sound the words created. A lot of the songs on Peeping Tom have cheesy lyrics but the melodies sound great.
Regardless, another great Patton release and I’m really looking forward to hearing more from Peeping Tom in the future.
May 5th, 2006 at 4:54 AM
PEEPING TOM SUCKS A LOT!!!!!
OOPS I DID IT AGAIN.
May 6th, 2006 at 3:25 PM
I’ve downloaded it and it’s pretty cool.
It’s definitely worth buying. Support Mike, If you dug Peeping Tom go and get yourself a copy.
Does anybody know where can I find the lyrics?
May 7th, 2006 at 11:49 AM
I agree with arg!,I wanted to say that, but I thought I’ll be an idiot
Peeping tom isn’t like faith no more, and we’re not alone isn’t like fnm, maybe you have different album than me hahahaha.
I like Celebrity death match, but with demo lirycs (new lirycs are a little stupid).
May 7th, 2006 at 1:43 PM
I don’t get the negative reception to this album. I’ve only been listening to Patton for about 3 years, but in that time I’ve got pretty much everything he’s done, from Mr. Bungle to Fantomas to the Zorn stuff etc, and I really love this album. First, I wasn’t too into it, then I really liked it, but now in the last few days it has really clicked and I’m really loving it. Only ‘Getaway’ fails to hit the mark. The chorus really seems like a cut ‘n’ paste job, but 10 out of 11 ain’t bad at all!

I only have the single so far as the album is not released here until May 29. I can’t wait for the album to be released, i think that mojo is great. There is so much going on in the music, I’ve listened to it heaps to try and hear it all. Also, it’s obviously not a song that you get sick of or else i would be over it by now. In fact, i would say that it is getting better with each listen.

I suppose the Breezeblock session will also be available for listen through the website some time after the live performance? Oh yeah and thanks to Mikepattonus for posting those lyrics; listener’s intepretations or something more official? Hope the liner notes of the album release will also contain the lyrics.

I couldn’t agree more. I expected more pop, thought he would be going over the top and overorchestrate, like Pink Cigarette.
May 8th, 2006 at 11:09 PM
Mhhmmm, Peeping tom, definitively a damn weird disc of Patton, i really didnt expected anything with this one, so basically am not dissapointed or happy about it, but i gotta say this is very different from what i was concludin by the demos, some songs simply doesnt fit well in there, actually i agree with the people wich say that some songs shouldnt be there to make from the album a most solid one, am still wonderin who da hell is norah jones (by any chance is some poor try of lovage old times??) or doseone, i founded too many shades of rap or hip-hop, wich to me is the same shit, i cant imagine Patton with golden rings or necklaces with a big yankees t-shirt singing songs like “how u feelin?” on a broklyn alley. To me, are too many changes from what am already used to listen, but if thats the case, then what about makin some music with Zack de la Rocha??, now that would be fukin awesome!!!!!…..
i dont understand why people are complainin about the lyrics, everybody must know by now that Patton lyrics arent just the most philosophical ones that we have ever heared, the lyrics are just crazy and thats the bottom line, is not the most relevant part of patton´s music. The point is why should i care about patton singing “oops i did it again” (like other pop bitch), even if he wouldnt said that in mojo and would been replaced with “fuk u all” for example, the song would be the same thing, that fact doesnt change anything, even a little. i dont know, maybe in next P.T disc there will be some commercial chorus in a few songs, maybe trash like backstreet boys or puff daddy, are u gonna crucify him just for that??? lol…
In the end, a weird and interesting offer, but quite different too, i´ll stay with a couple of songs, “your neighboorhood spaceman”, “mojo” or “dont even trip” are quite good, i can identify in there the patton that i like to listen, maybe a few more songs, but the rest arent just the perfect complement to convince me to be a P.T fan.
Next to come is new Tomahawk´s album, Mike please remember that Tomahawk is quite different from the other stuff u make !!!!!!
May 9th, 2006 at 1:36 AM
Tried to buy the tunes on Itunes. Impossible!
Can anyone either send me the songs or put them out on radio.blog.club?
Can hardly wait till the 30th, when albums comes out in Netherlands.

Love Preschool but love Mojo more… Can’t wait for the album at the end of the month! Patton is God.
May 9th, 2006 at 11:29 AM
Popester – just keep watching the radio 1 website!
I wonder if it was a live performance, a chat or spinning his fave discs????????????
May 9th, 2006 at 11:55 AM
I have been listening to the album for a couple weeks. I really really like it. I had had about 8 demo tracks for like 4 years, and only 3 of them made it to the album which is cool. My friend got the album through a private torrent site and it came with a remix of “we’re not alone” with dub trio and said it wasn’t going to be on the retail cd either.
Also one note from some of the comments already submitted….tomahawk is mainly written by Duane Dennison so you shouldn’t be thinking patton is going to let his peeping tom or other hiphop sounding stuff influence the new album coming out this year. patton knows his shit and knows what he is doing.
also is there a way to get that song without paying for the itunes? i am still buying the record even though i own it already just so i will have the real deal but i love rare stuff.
May 9th, 2006 at 2:07 PM
El disco esta la raja , grande Patton , no esperabamos menos aka en Chile . Ahora a esperar lo nuevo de Tomahawk .
May 9th, 2006 at 10:41 PM
let’s not forget that Patton qualified his ‘pop’ comment by saying the music was something he would want to hear if he turned on the radio.

May 10th, 2006 at 1:21 AM
Hey, what’s the tracklist of that EP?
May 10th, 2006 at 2:36 AM
The session seems to be doing a lot of tribute to the featuring artists of the Peeping Tom record. Interesting compilation, those few tracks which I’ve heard before are simply killers.
May 10th, 2006 at 7:04 AM
What will be interesting, and cool if this was master-minded (but probably hasn’t), is if the PT album gets a good reception in the press, and is as ‘pop’ as it could reasonablly be, as I think it might show how the mentality of people and their preconceptions can radically alter the way the see and hear things (this isn’t a theory, as far as I’m aware, there are factual studies). By having Mike saying (and he definitely did more than once) ‘this is going to be a pop album’, word gets round, and when a disc lands on a reviewers desk he says ‘oh, I heard this is the pop album from that guy who used to be in FNM and does weird stuff now’ (to completely stereotype a reviewer there!) – as opposed to ‘oh, another crazy album from that crazy guy’. Hence, they’re more open to it.
I’m hoping the 2nd album is bang on with the lush orchestral harmonies and crooning. Patton should get Kaada on board for some Bacharach-lovin’ action! Or Sebastian Bach, you know, I’m not fussy, they can write songs together in their corvette.
May 10th, 2006 at 11:43 AM
POPEY, MARKY & MAYA:
Right, keep everything you say in here!!!!!!!!!
Bister – have you seen Mr. Bach lately? Fuck me – he looks worse than Brett Michaels (and that’s scary). Well, at least they don’t use ‘spray on hair’ like Gene Simmons………
May 10th, 2006 at 3:15 PM
the couple of songs kick some major butt. definately impressed for the first time in a long time. wouldn’t go as far to say this is radio worthy, because radio isn’t good enough for it. haven’t figured out how to find any other songs and don’t really care. already preordered and ready to go.
if i was really cool i’d get my ass on a plane and worship patton live in nyc this weekend. anyone seeing that crazy show?
May 10th, 2006 at 4:05 PM
Loved mojo sounds alot like Genral Patton album but thats ok
May 11th, 2006 at 5:33 AM
Peeping tom sucks…..it’s pop, ridiculous, stupid lyrics. it’s a shame you support it. you guys doesn’t know nothing about music. you guys accept everything that patton does. i love the other ones but this…..this is shit. it’s the first patton’s effort that i won’t support. fuck it!!!
at least the melodic is good. because the rest is just a bunch of pop songs like n’sync, in that american idol style.
it’s intersting how you guys suck pattons balls all the time.

i koow that he will be back with a good tomahawk record this, and that’s the only thing that will save my year.
know keep litening mojo and get back to your pop reality. i will wait for masterpieces like lovage and tomahawk

I’ve finally go round to downloading a few tracks off the album.
I think from what I’ve heard he’s continued the top tracks on Gen Patton V Exe album like Fire In The Hole, LOL and Get up Punk – infact Mojo has almost an identicle structure as GuPunk!
I think Gettaway is good except the chorus getting a bit repetative – but the music is cool. And the only other one I’ve heard is Don’t even Trip which after lots of repeats is quite likable even though quite a few have slagged it off. I think I’ll really like the rest of the album – its sits well on my MP3 player next to the G Patton stuff. I never expected it to be any more POP than this coming from Mike. I don’t know what others expected – the Beach Boys??

If I think again….em,I think that…..em, e-e still nop. It’s not that kind of music.
May 12th, 2006 at 8:44 AM

May 12th, 2006 at 8:45 AM
…. rather than… Norah Jones for example
May 12th, 2006 at 11:13 AM
Well, I can’t comment until I hear it!!!! My mate offered to send it me on copy but I wanna wait for THE REAL THING!!!!!!!!!
Wonder if Roddy’s still on the heroin? I think he’s a twat – the last two FNM albums could have been EVEN better had he bothered to play his keyboards rather than cry about splitting up with his boyfriend.
The big fucking mincer.
May 12th, 2006 at 11:54 AM
A big fucking mincer who swallows!
errrrrrrrgh!
I bought some Imperial Teen thing off ebay for 99p that I’ve still not listened to 7 months later. Its supposed to be quite good but I can’t get the enthusiasm up to play it!
Oh dear.
WHat the rest of FNM would do for a reunion.
We should petition them!
May 12th, 2006 at 7:32 PM
If Roddy read this i think he could end with an stroke or something, he´s definitly not in P.T, and i really cant see where he could fit in there, its not his stlye, simple as that.
If u hear “Imperial teen” his last band then u´ll know what am talkin about, and about collaborations with patton´s sides proyects, the only thing that i know he made was something in Mr. bungle disc from 1991, actually he appears on the special thanks part of the cd cover.

May 15th, 2006 at 9:00 AM
Cool thanks for the article – news about the Tomahawk album making slow yet definite progress were especially great. Hope they’ll end up touring in Finland too!
Synthetic Fantômas…haha looks like we’re in another ride for a truly fucked-up experience. For me the greatest Patton-project, and due to this I hope the “hibernation” comment didn’t mean that the guys are gonna put the band on a halt for a very long time after the 5th album release.
May 15th, 2006 at 10:43 AM
what do you mean with “bad”?

yeah, like looking bad is something he’s concerned with.
May 18th, 2006 at 3:44 AM
Hey just heard Mojo. Not bowled over. It’s ok. It does kinda grow on you though. I hope they’re a few better songs. Is it a good representation of the album?
For any UK fans who’ve had trouble getting it on ITunes it’s in Rock Sound magazine on their free CD. Just saying ‘cos it’s not on the front of the CD cover. It was a nice suprise though!
All electronic Fantomas! May God have mercy on us all!

for those of you who are into men, a huge part of mike patton’s appeal are his looks. if he looked like a pile of shit, i don’t think i would have been that impressed back in 1989, thus i wouldn’t care about cv.org today.
long live the spandex pants! he’s hot…just looking a little rough around the edges.

Surfing you thieving muthafucker. Pay for the damn thing. I fucking hate music thieves. Pre-School is a bonus track, why would you not buy it? How can claim to be a fan when you openly steal from him? Makes no sense.
May 18th, 2006 at 10:42 PM
Hey craig, cut ur bullshit, or do u really think all the ppl who have already (the ones u call “fans”) listened P.T album has payed anything for it??, this has nothing to do with being or not being a fan, u still keepin sayin that shit, if u want to blame something or someone then blame the guy who left this ep on the torrent, but i know u cant, cuz am sure even u has already used this methods to own the music before u buy the real thing, besides just like u thought about me, surfin never stated being a fan………., thinkin about it, ur the one who makes no sense………………
May 19th, 2006 at 5:26 AM
Erin – are you really that shallow? Surely the music outweighs the looks.
May 19th, 2006 at 8:34 AM
Mark bowen-
no….i’m not that shallow, but it wasn’t the music that peaked my interest back then. it was the cool epic video, the long hair, the lines shaved in the side of his head. come on now, every 12 year old needs something to get her motor running. think of it as the boys in the 70s being hot for farrah fawcett. who would you rather see young farrah or old farrah?
the music was a bonus and it stuck. he’s a genius in his own right, no doubt. but he’s also a great piece of ass.
May 19th, 2006 at 12:16 PM
I’d PREFER to see Farrah Fawcett with her nose where it’s supposed to be – a perfect example of fucked up plastic surgery.
Craig and Star – start being nice to each other or fuck off.
Erin – you ARE shallow. But I can see your point…….
…..no, I’m not a bender. Honest.
May 19th, 2006 at 1:11 PM
Oh eh its kick off time!
What does it matter if people are a fan cos of the music or his looks?? Its a free world ! So what ! Its up to them !
So go on Erin lie back and dream of Mike slavering over you if you like !
I fancy Liz Bonnin me
May 19th, 2006 at 9:47 PM
Speakin about being nice each other…………what da hell!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
May 20th, 2006 at 1:27 AM
Ok Erin – fair point if thats what floats your boat.
May 20th, 2006 at 3:41 AM
Mike Patton a great piece of ass?? That is offensive to all men. We are not objects. heh heh heh.
May 20th, 2006 at 11:10 PM
I’m starting to even kind of like the “oops I did it again” ending in “Mojo”, because despite all the stuff about rolling it up and smoking it again and getting your mojo running, I’ve decided it might actually be about blacking out and killing someone (“it’s my party, there’s blood on the ceiling, the carpet”, “I can’t believe I did it again”). Referencing Britney Spears songs from 6 years ago just out of nowhere = kind of lame. Referencing Britney Spears songs in the context of a song that sounds like a party anthem but is actually written from the point of view of a schizophrenic murderer = actually kind of cool somehow.
So yeah, the album’s not perfect, but I still quite like it; it’s kind of a “pop” album, but it’s Patton still has a pretty weird conception of what “pop” is. Strangely one of the highlights in my book is the Norah Jones track; it’s really catchy, and it helps that you wouldn’t guess who it was chiming in if you didn’t look at the tracklisting first. In conclusion, I find the notion of getting told that one knows nothing about music by someone named after a Stone Temple Pilots song pretty hillarious.

I used to live near Liz Bonnin and there was weird goings on at night in her house I tell ya!!
May 22nd, 2006 at 3:33 AM
If someone called me a great piece of ass I’d make take an ad in the paper.
May 22nd, 2006 at 9:33 AM
I am absolutely shocked that people like this album. His voice sounds forced and lame, the lyrics are embarassing, and the album as a whole is disjointed and unlistenable.
It’s almost like Mike Patton wasn’t involved at all.

There is a small issue here in Australia that i caught in a music magazine the other day. There is a small local band called Peeping Tom and they have recently had there site removed from myspace without any reasons given by the site operator. Noone has pointed any fingers yet but they are not ruling out that it may have been b/c Mike Patton’s Peeping Tom was given priority. Anyway, the band have their lawyers onto it. I can see their point, I’d be pretty pissed off too if i was in their position.
May 24th, 2006 at 9:38 PM
ITS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At last after waiting a fuc*ing long time l have just picked my copy of Peeping Tom, l did download some for a taste and purchased from itunes but know l have the complete album and as always am happy with it. I was a little confused when l first tried to open it but know lm right. Also the was a patton interview on JJJ yesterday that will be available next week from threre website ( australian radio station )

Craig, as Star A . Dreamer said, I never said I was a fan. I dont look at myself or anyone else for that matter as a music thief if they share music around. Its a very sensible and affordable way to listen to music that you enjoy. Besides Mr Patton is deffinitely not struggling for a penny….
May 26th, 2006 at 1:38 AM
Yeah but he’s a man that needs the money to afford a steady supply of a lot of hair gel.
May 27th, 2006 at 9:14 AM
It’s kind of weird that there are actually Mike Patton fans who dislike the album and do their best on expressing so. Or not. Let’s face it, most of us are arrogant assholes. Anyways, of course it’s not pop, of course it’s kind of rap and electronic, of course it’s not mainsteam music, what the hell did you expect? I think it’s great, it’s growing in me on every listen, and i’m reallly happy about it. Greetings from Athens, Greece.
May 27th, 2006 at 12:01 PM
How DOES he keep his hair so perfect and slicked back??? The guy thrashes around on stage, practically does flips and flops and walla, hair is still perfectly in tact, nicely in place. What kinda shit is he putting in his hair? motor grease?
May 28th, 2006 at 1:38 PM
Google is an amazing thing, if you really wanna find the songs to download, especially a Single, look it up, you can find. I have faith in all of you. I’ll give you a little hint, its on an FTP server for a fansite of one of Mr. Patton’s former bands fan sites. As for Itunes, I can’t stand it, and the fact that Apple recieves most of the money out of your 99 cent or 2 dollar song purchase, is kind of funny and just as shitty as the record labels taking 95% of the procedes from a bands record sales. If you wanna support the band, go check them out live, buy their stuff directly from them, (ie. Merch booths, or official websites), stay away from Itunes and mall record stores. And if you want free music, perhaps you should just up your computer skills (which isn’t much) and you can sample some songs.
PS. I don’t mind the peeping tom album, decent, not spectacular, but worth the listen/buy. Although I was expecting a Kaada/Patton-esque vibe with more of a pop sensibility for a Patton ‘Pop’ album.
May 30th, 2006 at 5:01 PM
most of you are all fucking bitches. peeping tom rocks the house down and mike reigns surpreme. he has made some unlistenable shit in his day, but so does everyone. he’s a busy man. i think all the crybaby’s on here should make a better album than peeping tom before they sook again. if your a fan, your a fan. if ya hate the new cd so much, tell mike and see if he gives a fuck. fuck you. party on.
May 30th, 2006 at 5:08 PM
if mike was the singer of creed, nickelback, korn and so on, i’d love it, coz he’d make it his own and blow us away. And for those who think some fans would be happy with just a simple fart from the man’s asshole, your right. coz he’d put an effect on it and make it sound interesting. its fucked how people compare this to fantomas and faith no more and mr bungle. all that music still exists. now theres an extra, more gangsta 1 to listen to. i want more. i’ve been a fan from the begining and i still am. mike patton can’t fail.
May 31st, 2006 at 7:25 PM
I like many aspects of the album. I rarely read reviews so that I can go into something w/o preconceived ideas. Anyway, I’m not gonna compare the sound of the whole album to any of the other albums. it’s just plain fucking good.
also, as soon as i heard mojo, i thought of a slightly slower version of midlife crisis.
can’t wait for the tour… i know i’ll be there.
June 14th, 2006 at 3:55 PM
Hey i bought the cd yesterday here in argentinai paid 25 dollrs for this incredible disc , maan i think patton is 100000 years from us.
