Just found out that the show runs on NBC Europe with a three day delay. Monday evening 2345 CET, it’s the show with the peeping tom performance!
Don’t think they will grant to publish the performance to ipecac nor this site before that date, not wanting to miss all those patton addicts to tune in!
Oh and by the way Conan is a fag he’s as funny as my ex girlfriend sleeping with my dad.
Hans Teeuwen kicks ass

Holy Sh*t! What a GREAT PERFORMANCE!!! All of sudden Conan cues the band, and over you go to see Rahzel standing next to Patton and Dan (Automater) in the back with another DJ and some chick Singer up with Patton belting the song out. Dub Trio as the backing band as well….. shit… I was pushing my speakers pretty hard listening to it last nite.. Only thing negative i could say is that i wish Patton’s microphone had been a little louder.
-As Conan came up to meet the band he said, ‘Nice to see you again’ to Patton… He mustve remembered from Faith No More. ha!
I live in wisconsin, like a half hour from twin lakes, ive already got my tickets to Hedgphest for Peeping Tom’s first FULL live performance!!! I AM NOW ASSURED it will be one of the best shows ever… I feel like the luckiest patton fan right now. It couldnt get any better.

The YouTube video looks like shit. Hopefully Ipecac will get permission to put up the nice one.
May 27th, 2006 at 12:18 PM
Hmm, it looks a bit grainy – I think that my pc though, and the sound is a bit crap (again probably my pc) but I thought it was a bit limp.
Why have that woman singing? Its better if Mike sings the lot I reckon. And whats with the hair net ? I think i’ve seen him wear one once before but why ??

The performance in terms of music quality was awesome, the song sounded perfectly indentical to the one recorded on studio, a whole bunch of guys just there to play some music with patton, a great show, no doubt about it.
while i was seein it on youtube something came out to my mind when i saw this dub trio performin in there, and i know this has nothing to do with his kind of music, the whole band were dancin the fukin song like damn puppets lol, i wonder what would be the reaction of puffy or spruance if patton would invited them to play mojo………….LOL, i can imagine his faces man!! hahaha
psdt: what da hell is that thing on his head?

It’s the latino gangsta style
Lovin’ it
I don’t think this band will beat a live performance of Fantomas/Tomahawk/Mr Bungle by a million years. Plus there’s nothing extra to it like the lovage concept…
This is just a record to make money. But no problem, awaiting a series of new releases from Fantomas and Tomahawk with pleasure and taking this album along.
BTW, live performance indicating that all the people on the album will be present? How are they going to get their touring schedules synchronised?
This is the ideal moment to get the other FNM bandmembers together for some shows playing peeping tom. That’s going to be funny … until someopne get’s hurt of course, then it’s hilarious

I actually was disappointed with the PT performance on Conan for a couple reasons.
1) The sound quality was poor. I couldn’t even hear MP sing. Like the single, he should have also sang the higher voice, not just the lower to show his range. He wasn’t as powerful as he usually is.
2) I also got the sense that Conan didn’t even know who MP was, that he thought they were just some new band that made the scene. He didn’t even talk to him or mention his name in the monologue or at the introduction. Obviously, MP’s name is what got him on the show, but apparently Conan had no clue.
May 28th, 2006 at 8:09 AM
i’d be surprised if conan didn’t know mike, since faith no more have been on conan’s show a few times before
May 28th, 2006 at 9:03 AM
I’m sure Tomahawk have been on Conan before.
The sound for the bands playing on Conan is ALWAYS notorioulsy BAD! Lenno and Letterman are always great, but Conan’s sets are constantly shite.
I’ve heard the chick is Miri Benari, a hip hop violinist (you see the violin towards the end of the clip), but I’m not sure if it is her. If it is, she looks a little different in the clip then her photos.
May 28th, 2006 at 9:48 AM
He did say “good to see you!” almost like he’s seen him before, but maybe he says that to all the guests. I was also hoping for a little more dialogue between the two.

I expect much praise for this!!!!

Hey ‘ummmm’ thanks for the link. I recorded it on my TiVos and ripped it from there, but I don’t have HDTV and once I chop it down the quality is decent, but not great. I’ll see about cutting this one down to just the Peeping Tom part and posting it on here.
May 28th, 2006 at 11:26 AM
A few things:
1. I don’t think that’s Miri Benari, seeing how the woman on the show is black (Or maybe it’s just the fucked up video quality), and Miri Benari is Israeli. But maybe it’s just my eyes.
2. Tomahawk were never on Conan.
3. Conan O’brien hosts about 90 Groups per year…Why would he remember Patton, who was there over 10 years ago as a part of FNM? He always says “good to see you”, sheesh.
May 28th, 2006 at 1:32 PM
Wow. Lameness, even aside from the mix.
In general: that’s a lot of mainstream push (Myspace front page, Conan) for someone who’s just trying to rip the piss out of pop. Who’s pushing for this? Surely Ipecac ticks over quite nicely? The feeling I get from this is that pop is Patton’s ongoing (if often sidelined) nemesis (c.f. ‘California’), and that he thinks his version of pop-style music is more interesting than the mainstream, maybe because he’s got so much smarts from hanging around with musicians who can really play. Turns out that, this time at least, it isn’t. Instead, it’s “Get Up, Punk!” again. Which, in some ways, was “Midlife Crisis” again. Not that Patton’s out of ideas, just that he’s a little condescending about pop.
May 28th, 2006 at 6:03 PM
It’s not Miri Benari. It’s Imani Coppola (vox, violin), Dub Trio (guitar, bass, drums), Dan Nakimura (laptop), Razhel (beatbox, vox), and I’m not sure who is the DJ.
May 28th, 2006 at 6:34 PM
Rob Swift. That’s the DJ. From The Executioners.
