Peeping Tom are headlining.
It would appear Imani is a proper touring member of Peeping Tom now, which makes sense, as you really can’t get everybody from the album touring together due to conflicting schedules etc.

Mike Patton english fans could also enjoy him playing Moonchild (a 11 pieces composed by John Zorn for the Patton/Dunn/Baron trio, a Tzadik release) at the Barbican Hall, London on June 18 2006. I wish I was there…..damn!

I wasn’t impressed very much by the May 8 2006 concert in Modena (he sang for the latest Evying Kang composition, “cantus circaeus”) but this trio should be very cool. The good ol’ days of Naked City return every once in a while:-)

It seems from the latest Patton interviews CV recently showed that the Zorn sessions in NYC were two, so there might be a new release on Tzadik soon…..but the funny thing is that a Jamie Saft Trio new disc is approaching.
Why funny? It is a Bob Dylan tribute and Mike Patton is one of the guest vocalists:-) Check the updates at the Tzadik page:

Gnarls Barkley is the main act for Peeping Tom.. not at the festivals, but at the other shows… yep, I knew it.. our days of 15$ dollar Patton shows and being able to see the whole thing up close is over (for Peeping Tom that is).. get ready to fight the little kids trying to get tix. Well he might actually go this time to South America, if Peeping Tom’s popularity continues to escalate at the rate it’s going…
It’s a shame they’re not opening for Gnarls Barkley in the UK, where his single was no. 1 in the UK for 7 weeks or something crazy (pun intended) like that. Would have given them a great deal of exposure…. not sure if Gnarls is as popular in his native?
But yeah, actually now that I think about it, it’s good that Peeping Tom aren’t opening for Gnarls in Britain because it would sell out in a flash and more morons than usual would attend. :s :s
