  1. Don Says:

Very Cool and well done…not too literal. Hopefully it’ll get played.

  2. Rod, Jane & Freddy Says:

Fantastic… really well done – it deserves heavy rotation on MTV, VH2, Kerrang! etc.. fingers crossed

  3. Craig Says:

    Interesting….

  4. projectmayhem Says:

cool video. danny devito and that model chick who was married to rod steward. crazy…

i hope peeping tom has more singles/vids coming from it. i hope they get some sort of “concept” directors in future. this is definitely my favourite video from ipecac though!

if anyone cares, peeping tom debuted (?) at 63 in the irish charts

  5. Robert Suthard Says:

    fuckign great

  6. blofeld Says:

Not too bad… I had higher hopes. Kept thinking it would all come together, congeal a bit more towardds the end but it remained scattered–unfocused. With all the guest musicians you’d think there would have been somemore recognizeable faces. Danny Devito was cool.

  7. Jacques Says:

Please, if you have access to a high definition of this video then post it !
    I’ve found it interesting, too.

  8. loseronline Says:

    Eox, Mac10, Copz, great!

  9. V Says:

There was a lot going on. It’s pretty ambitious. Kinda video you wanna watch over and over. I’m glad it’s finally here and I’d love to actually see it on television.

  10. jonestheblue Says:

hmm..i’m a lurker so hello all!!!! – Good vid but am I being daft as I can’t see danny devito?!?!

  11. jonestheblue Says:

ahhh suppose it helps if I watch it all the way through :)

  12. Maya Says:

    WWWOOOOOOOHHHOOOOOOOO!!!
    SWEET!! :)

  13. Pascal Chimbonda Says:

The video fucking rules!!!! It was totally worth the wait!!!!!

  14. Bashman Says:

Mark Hoppus is duly arrested for years of releasing mainstream garbage into the world! Justice…

  15. projectmayhem Says:

    i don’t understand the mark hoppus thing…. maybe i’m missing something…

  16. The Pope Says:

I thought it was crap to be honest.
The only parts that looked good was Patton against the test card and the models singing the chorus – but thats been done a good few times before. The more I think about it the worse it becomes.
Didn’t like the performance on that Conrad show either so I better just stick with the album! Unless the the vid for We’re not Alone is better…

  17. Name it Says:

why mark hoppus? is he friends with patton or something?? and if so, why?!? it better not be due to music. thats confusing as hell… i understand this is a sattire on mainstream tv/culture but… It seemed very hashed together and done in haste. no dan the automater?? devito’s part was minimal, just seemed like a token thing to do stickin him in at the end. VERY DISAPOINTING… i hope this is NOT shown on tv… MAKE A BETTER VIDEO FOR ‘How you feelin?’ this is CRAP.. i dont want any fanboy’s defending it either.

  18. crap Says:

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks it’s crap, very un-original, very badly done, Patton looks redicilous, too bad they threw all the money on that. FNM videos probably cost much less (aside from Last Cup of Sorrow and Smaller and Smaller) and were way better (I’m not comparing FNM to Peeping Tom, just saying videos can be very cheap and very good, and very expensive and very crappy, like Mojo).

  19. Travis Says:

” i dont want any fanboy’s defending it either”

    hahahaha

  20. projectmayhem Says:

does anyone have credits for the video? (director etc.)

  21. Star A . Dreamer Says:

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, He´s already startin to dress like a damn raper boy now……………………………..my worst thoughts are becomin true.

  22. Travis Says:

yeah, because it’s all about what he’s wearing, gimmie a break

  23. Star A . Dreamer Says:

How do u know my worst thoughts???, U GIMME A BREAK MAN!!!!

  24. Bashman Says:

There was a video to Smaller and Smaller?

    It’s news to me…

    Bash

  25. eeee Says:

probably want to say a small victory

  26. Yep Says:

    A Small Victory, excuse me.
Looks like a bad combination of early Eminem videos with Black Hole Sun.

  27. The Pope, Rome Says:

Yeah he doesn’t cut it as a “home boy” does he!!
He carries off “mean and moody” a lot better!
Get the black suit back on fella!

  28. Travis Says:

    yes, wear the correct clothing

  29. Pascal Chimbonda Says:

    Here we go again………..

  30. The Pope Says:

    Hey, its important !

  31. AC Says:

I hope the goal was to make a cheap, amateur looking video. If so, well done.

  32. Travis Says:

Exactly, watch the video for what it is, not what you think it shoud be.

  33. Star A . Dreamer Says:

If, nobody here can tell how the video should be, then that means nobody here can give his opinion, and if nobody here can give his opinion then that means this is not a forum, and if this is not a forum, then how can i tell u that ur damn wrong man???, gimme a break!! (again)

  34. Travis Says:

haha, yeah like anything anybody ever said on any forum ever meant anything(seriously, words, nothing more) hey you wanna keep whining about how patton doesn’t satisfy your every little need, go ahead, i enjoy the entertainment. It’s alright to have an opinion, but i think it’s hilarious how seriously you take yourself. keep it coming crybaby

  35. Craig Says:

Okay, let’s knock the shit off and get back on topic please.

  36. JasonZ Says:

Well the last 30 seconds were pretty cool.

    Aside from that, pretty trivial…boring.

Patton has pretty much been on record since 99 saying that videos [for the bands he is in] are a waste of money. You’d think that since he had finally went through the trouble (and the dough), they would have produced something a little less….flacid.

  37. Star A . Dreamer Says:

Wuuuuuaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!, man yeahh i keep whining, and i cant be more serious as i am now, LOL
By the way u said this is not a forum, so ur silly opinion cant be here haha

(goddamn, i cant even imagine where the hell do this guys come out from)

  38. Mark Bowen Says:

Yep Patton is in danger of trying to look like someone he’s not for this project. Fine, musically have Rahzel n Dan the man doing their stuff and the track is growing on me but Patton looks better as an Italian gangster rather than some OG.

  39. The Pope, Rome Says:

Yeah Mark while I give the album cover 10/10, i’d say stick a black and white picture of Mike on the reverse in a black suit looking suave with a Revolver in his hand.
Damn, I should be his fuckin’ publicist!

  40. Mark Bowen Says:

Hahaha yeah thats more like it – Ashes to Ashes Mike any day of the week.

  41. Maya Says:

What’s wrong with too big T-shirt? It would be worse if he had too small shirt :) -well,he had it once on Tomahawk show, and it looked great!! Hahaha
    *Maya*is*back* :)

  42. Travis Says:

yeah my silly opinion can’t be here even though it is here? hmmm……

  43. Mario Says:

    Hey Star A . Dreamer,

Mike is also dressing like a raper boy in concert now! Here is a picture taken from a show on may 23th 2006 in Victoriaville, Québec.

    http://www.fimav.qc.ca/retro06/photos/26razhelpatton.jpg

  44. AC Says:

I was being sarcastic. The video is crap. Mike looks like an amateur.

“I hope the goal was to make a cheap, amateur looking video. If so, well done.”

  45. Travis Says:

I thought the video was pretty interesting, I don’t mind the fact that it had a low budget. I mean with more money you can have more freedom to do what you want artistically, but then again there are so many big budget videos out there that are completely mindless crap. Plus a lot of video ideas are from the directors mind and not the band at all.

  46. Star A . Dreamer Says:

Allright!, let´s make a point here, maybe i expressed myself in the wrong way, some people around here thinks that the way he dress now have nothing to do, man!, off course that matters, i mean, cmon, if u ask me 6 months ago about this type of drastic change i really wouldn´t believe it, i have been listening different music from Patton from too many years already, but if u look for a common pattern between all this “old shool” music, then u will find something, for insignificant that can be, it´s there, but since P.T came to my hands with the very little precedents he had in this point u wont understand how the heck he changed so much, maybe someone would have to guess that only hearin the whole disc, but i started to notice this from the Conan O´brien show, the gestures, the way he moved himself in the scenario, i mean, it´s tottally different, i accept that he had to change into something else since the release of the disc, but at least to me, a fan of him from the old days, was too much, it would be like seein puffy, Dunn or Denisson changin in that way, impossible off course cuz we all know they decline to play that kind of music.
I agree with Bowen here when he says that maybe he´s tryin to be someone he´s not, he´s makin a way open into more styles and shades and i respect that, the question is; is Patton gonna go deeper into this waves of music??, and if is that so, how deeper is he gonna go??, for me, he has given already too many credit for this kind of shitty music and he´s just gettin apart from the stream that made me to involve more and more in his proyects.
I think that most of the people who likes P.T it is not really devoted of the “old school”, he is just tastin and experimentin creepy tunes, expandin his horizonts and i agree with that, even if i dont like this phase, the problem is that most of the commercial flow is directed only to P.T, (what about moonchild or his proyect in italy???) and i think is cuz u get to more people when u play such music, it makes me remember when u turn on the tv, put MTV and start to see this trash like outkast or puff daddy………..the more i think about it, the more it makes me sick……………
Duane, we all know wich is ur next mission now……..dont dissapoint us!!

  47. Craig Says:

I like the Peeping Tom record. I look at Patton’s music as I would an actor. Different albums, different characters. If he turned out the same shit album after album, I’d have given up a long time ago. Ilike the fact that he changes his style. I happen to like his current hip hop style, PT and General Patton etc… And I normally HATE that style of music. I can’t wait for the next Tomahawk, Fantomas or Lovage CD’s. It all interests me.

  48. Pascal Chimbonda Says:

    Star A. Dreamer:

So, what? You don’t like his hip-hop ‘phase’? He’s been doing turntable stuff for the last 6 years (at least) so it’s not exactly de jour.

Please don’t come back until you have grasped the principles of the English language.

    “Thank you, please”

  49. Stefano Says:

Yes, I definitely agree with Craig when he points out Mike’s versatility. That’s why I appreciate him despite of the output of some of his projects.

I still believe that “changing” is the right away. Not staying still I mean.

From an academic point of view Mike Patton is not a professional musician, he cannot read music, he didn’t “study” music at school, nevertheless he has a great talent and he managed to control it and use it in several ways.

Thinking were he was 18 years ago and seeing where he is now I’m impressed.

(P.S. I didn’t like the video too much, I prefer the NBC performance)

  50. Travis Says:

Yeah, I remember reading in one of those interviews that he was writing peeping tom stuff while mr bungle was still going on. so it seems like he had some of these ideas a long time ago.

  51. RaDiCal Says:

Where the fuck did you got that pascal?, 6 years at least?, what do you know and how do you know about that?, are you the turntable in person or something?

  52. RaDiCal Says:

Wrong, all started while patton was in a tour with fantomas, after the director´s cut, in 2002 if i remember correctly, by then Mr. Bungle was already dead , 4 years or less, that´s not alot of time compared with the time he spent in faith no more and bungle, was he already doing the turntable stuff?, i don´t think so.

  53. Pascal Chimbonda Says:

Even in 1999, Patton was doing hiphop/turntable with the likes of Mista Sinista (check out http://ftp.bunglefever.com – it has even more that http://www.youtube.com has to offer) and the original Peeping Tom demos have been out for years – check out the stuff that didn’t get on the album cos it fucking rules (Desperate Situation, a cover of a Marvin Gaye song I think, is marvellous).

  54. The Pope Says:

Sorry Pascal lad but the only turntable stuff I ‘ve heard was on the Xmen collaboration and PT. And thats not him thats other people.
By the way sorry to hear about Mr Owen at least you’re due some compo!

  55. Asscal Says:

Actually, Patton performed with Buckethead and some turntable guy over 6 years ago.

  56. Tido Jones Says:

Seriously, who gives a fuck what he’s wearing. A rapper? he has the same slicked back hair he’s always had and he’s wearing a San Francisco Giants jersey…thats “gangster”? The point of the video is to poke fun at all the bullshit we see on TV. Donald Rumsfield, the Later Night Hooker lines etc. If you thought the video was boring…great, I thought it was hilarious and glad to see someone else thinks all that crap i see on TV is a joke too. Also this isn’t Hip Hop Mike, if you listened to Hip Hop you would know that. It is just Mike doing what he does over Digitaly Produced beats mixed with samples and Live studio work. I LOVE it.

  57. Don Says:

Pascal is right, except, I think he’s been screwing around with turntables for allot longer than six years. My friend saw him perform in San Fransisco, under the name of Phono Sanjo with DJ Eddie Def back in, like, 1997 or 98. Not to mention the turn table-heavy stuff with Milk Cult and Moonraker (with, I think, DJ Flare)…by the way, if any of you have live perforances of any of those shows, I’d contract away my first born son (not daughter…I’m keeping her).

  58. Star A . Dreamer Says:

Mmhhhhmmmmmm there u go, Mr. specialist Pascal, i think that speculate about something without knowin the real FACTS only shows that u dont know too much. By one side, pope says ur wrong, in the other hand we have Don who “think” that Patton has an older dj side, the thing is that both stated examples, but u didnt stated any example, cuz ur not even sure about what ur talkin, ur post ir simple ridiculous, without a true base.

Here is where we come back to older arguments, those of u who likes all what this guy do as a musician lose objectivity in front of fair judges, u start to post that everything that the man does is great, that he´s almost perfect, that the people who do not think like the way u do is wrong, well, fuck u and ur obssesed love with the man. This is a place to share opinions and different points of view, if u dont like what others say, u have to respect them anyway, more yet, when u seem to know very little about the matters that we discuss here, if thiago or anyone else doesnt like peeping tom, that not means that cuz U like it he is wrong………. REMEMBER THAT!!! turntable man, jesus. LOL!

  59. Star A . Dreamer Says:

  60. Pascal Chimbonda Says:

Don – I’m sure there’s Milk Cult/Moonraker stuff on http://ftp.bunglefever.com – have you been there? You may not need to give your son away after all……

Tido – right on, son. Stick it to ‘the man’.

Popey – you knew what I meant!! Patton is God but I knew he couldn’t stretch to scratching (or can he????). I posted this in response to ‘RaDiCal’s’ query, which is still under ‘moderation’ (so no-one can see it!):

“Even in 1999, Patton was doing hiphop/turntable with the likes of Mista Sinista (check out http://ftp.bunglefever.com – it has even more that http://www.youtube.com has to offer) and the original Peeping Tom demos have been out for years – check out the stuff that didn’t get on the album cos it rules (Desperate Situation, a cover of a Marvin Gaye song I think, is marvellous).”

Aye, another season without Owen – we are proper fucked. Have you seen our chairman – I imagine he smells of hookers. And BO.

  61. Pascal Chimbonda Says:

God, I’ve posted stuff on here and it keeps saying ‘your comment is awaiting moderation’……and I’ve (bearly) used a swearword.

  62. Pascal Chimbonda Says:

Well, that one got through no problem!

  63. Pascal Chimbonda Says:

Don – I’m sure there’s Milk Cult/Moonraker stuff on http://ftp.bunglefever.com – have you been there? You may not need to give your son away after all……

Aye, another season without Owen – we are proper scuppered. Have you seen our chairman – I imagine he smells of hookers. And BO.

  64. Maya Says:

Desperate Stiuation is the best song on demos, and I’m so dissapointed that it’s not on album. Maybe it will be on second or third? Hahaha,Pascal, moderation sucks hehehe, I mean, somebody say something and I respond, but if my comment waits, I miss the point hehehe

  65. Pascal Chimbonda Says:

Star A. Dreamer – I DID give an example, you fucking spaz. As I’ve previously mentioned (above), Patton was doing stuff with Mista Sinista in ’99 and I did not imply that Patton himself used turntables.

Now get off my case, bitch – and as I said previously, learn fucking English before coming back to this site. Prick.

  66. Pascal Chimbonda Says:

Hey, Maya – yup, ‘Desperate Situation’ is a classic. There was another one (don’t know the name), which had the words ‘day after day…’ in it – that was awesome as well!

  67. RaDiCaL Says:

hehe, now i know why this asscal is fukin with you dude, havin ur “transformed nick” seems he uses his head before postin, instead of you who talks an offensive language and behavin like a fuckin pussy crybaby. Too bad

  68. Don Says:

Pascal– I’ve been to ftpbunglefever and when I try to click on a folder, it geives me “the page you requested can not be displayed” and has so for a looong time. Is there some “step” I’m neglecting to do? Do I have to become a member or get some kind of authorization or something? I’ve seen people reference that sites content in a number of forums, but I’ve never been able to access it. For the record, I am highly computer illiterate, but I’m willing to try just about anything to get at it. Any suggestions, anyone?

  69. Pampered Dangle Says:

Star A . Dreamer, you fat, bald plof. I OWN video recordings of Patton with Mista Sinista from 1999. YES, it’s true, Patton DID work on dj turntable stuff EVEN back then. OH, and Patton also STRUTS like he did on the Conan live performance. I’m sure Patton just taylors his performance to each project. You and your “proof”. What ARE you anyway? Oh, Colin says hi.

  70. Pascal Chimbonda Says:

Dangle – cheers, mate. And a “hello” to Colin.

RaDiCal – you call ME offensive and then retort with with “fuckin pussy crybaby”? Priceless. Asking me “if I was the turntable in person”….take the “fucking spaz” crown off Star A Dreamer. You deserve it sooooo much.

Don – the only probs I ever have with Bunglefever is the 20 user limit!! It sounds like you’re trying to open the document at source. Try right-clicking on what you want and then copy it to your hard-drive or disk. It should download and you can view the file.

  71. Don Says:

Pascal – You were right (told ya I’m computer illiterate). I’ve already downloaded the Patton/Rahzel stuff, which sounds pretty good, but it’s the Moonraker show from 2000 that really blew me away. You can hear the seeds of allot of stuff he was about to dive into over the next five years througout the show. The second track is basically an earlier version of what would become Secret 4 Sale with Kid 606…one of my favorite tracks of his in the last six years. Now that I can acccess this shit, my only concern is that I’ll piss away the next couple of days when I should be studying. Thanks again, D.

  72. Star A . Dreamer Says:

    Pascal Chimbonda Says:

“RaDiCal – you call ME offensive and then retort with with “fuckin pussy crybabyâ€?? Priceless. Asking me “if I was the turntable in personâ€?….take the “fucking spazâ€? crown off Star A Dreamer. You deserve it sooooo much”.

    …………………………

Mhmmmmmm, maybe he is right, u ARE a fukin pussy crybaby, and a damn paranoid man too, maybe u don´t deserve it, but man, at least u know how to read…… congratulations…. LOL!

  73. Star A . Dreamer Says:

    To the Pampered fuker:

Ohh really??, and who the heck are u?? a follower of kriss-kross or somethin, or maybe an adolescent fan of beastie boy trash ??, u fukin cock sucker, i´ve seen many videos of patton doin many things, but not for that i assume that he IS what he shows to people on live performances, only u believe that, , besides this other idiot, am really tired to have to explain to ur retard minds wich all my points are, but not anymore, from now on, am gonna share posts only with people who really worths it. So u can fuk off now, takin an old advice of pascal chimbomda who can do the same thing (be nice or fuk off). that´s all…….

Ohh and, honestly, nobody gives a fuk aroud here about ur boyfriend, GET LOST u loser

  74. Travis Says:

    haha

  75. Pampered Dangle Says:

    Dear Star A. Dreamer,

So what you’re saying is if an artist is establishes himself with one image in one band, oh, say…15 years ago, and now 15 years later, he has a different demeanor on stage with a different band AND although this is the first time YOU have seen him like that, the fact is that he’s been doing this “thing”, been emersing himself underground in this “scene” for oh, say, seven years, THEN he doesn’t have a right to openly execute his actions because you think he’s being someone else? You’ve got a really bad case of ignorance in you. In fact, if you still don’t understand your flaw, then I think we should all split your nuts from the back of your head to your ass. I think THAT’S reasonable. You know, there’s an entire world out there that you’re not aware of…that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, you fat, bald plof. Whatever you say from this point on, you’d better think it through first and not speak out of your quivering dick lips. If you’re truly a Patton fan, then, you know, do some FUCKING RESEARCH.

    Best regards,

    Pampered Dangle

  76. Pampered Dangle Says:

One more thing, Star A. Dreamer… “kriss-kross or somethin”??! What kind of reference is THAT?! Obviously you don’t even understand the scene if you’re gonna reference THEM. Now wiggidy-wiggidy WACK OFF all over yourself and reassess your life, you fuckin’ plof.

  77. Star A . Dreamer Says:

uuuuuuuuu, what a bad boy uhh?? (hands shakin). Yeahh, from now on, am really gonna think it through first before even read any shit u post fuker so dont even mind in think what are u gonna send now, cuz i wont lose some time readin it. wiggidy-wiggidy LOL!, jesus, this days have been really fun, sure this guys are special…….

  78. Craig Says:

Great. I see this thread getting locked down too. How old are you people anyway? You act like pre-schoolers. “You’re a fan boi” “you suck” “this site is to much Patton”. Gah, I’m sick of it. I come here to read news on artists I like, and not to read this pre-pubescent whining.

  79. Mark Bowen Says:

Craigs right girls – knock it off.

  80. The Pope Says:

I think it’s OK – I was a bit disturbed with the other post getting locked down – that a bit Nazi isn’t it? It’s hardly going to start a war now is it ? People are entitled to their opinion whatever it is. You can ignore people having “handbags” can’t you?
For what it’s worth I think there is a bit of elitism going on. It doesn’t matter how much people know about Mike. Jesus I didn’t listen to anything form Mike Patton Since KFaD cos I got married and had kids then found Angel Dust again 3 years ago and since then I’ve been trying to piece his journey together. I’ve not even listened to the Dillinger stuff yet! But It doesn’t matter I’ve still got a right same as all the guys who are having slanging matches.
So don’t shut this post down.

  81. Mark Bowen Says:

This is true Pope, shutting that post down was a bit unessacery really although it was getting a bit playground. The fact that Patton makes very varied music means there’s there’s bound to be varied views I guess – Let’s all just take a minute and feel grateful that we’re not arguing about Incubus or something.

  82. Pascal Chimbonda Says:

Star A Dreamer – look at what you’ve just written. Now, read it back to yourself. Does your diatribe seem coherant? I can tell you that it doesn’t. Did you learn English from listening to “The Scorpions” CD box-set?

Wind of change? Go fuck yourself, bitch.

  83. The Pope Says:

Well there we go freedom of expression!
Come on Star A you’ve been hit with a round house now find your feet again and come back with a body blow!
Anybody got that FNM DVD yet and is there anything different from the Video’s??

  84. Travis Says:

    yeah fuck you star

  85. Star A . Dreamer Says:

Yeahh travis, shut da fuk up u little bastard brat

  86. Pampered Dangle Says:

Okay Star, you definitely have a right to opine. My point wasn’t that you didn’t like Patton’s new style or music, but that you weren’t aware of how long he’s been involved in that scene. Your ignorance is fine, because we all can’t get every bit of Patton news, BUT when I had to jump in, it was because you were talking with AUTHORITY on the issue, saying,

“…Mmhhhhmmmmmm there u go, Mr. specialist Pascal, i think that speculate about something without knowin the real FACTS only shows that u dont know too much…”

It was publicly known that Patton HAD in fact been involved with that scene for over SEVEN years, so… it seems that YOU did not have the facts. I don’t care about what you think of Patton, I’m sure he doesn’t. Just know what you’re talking about when you says something like,

“ur post ir simple ridiculous, without a true base.”

    Mmmkay? Great.

Oh, and Pascal Chimbonda, when you said,

“Did you learn English from listening to “The Scorpionsâ€? CD box-set?”

I just about shit myself! CLASSIC!!!

  87. Don Says:

I picked up the DVD, and, sadly, nothing new. The picture quality is better than the VHS, but not by much. What I was most disapointed with, however, is that they didn’t remix the sound for 5.1. It’s still just in stereo. I’ve often thought that Patton is passing up on some serious cash by not having come out with an Ipecac released live DVD that really exploits the medium to its potential. Think of what could be done, sonically, with a Fantomas live show on DVD…Lombardo’s symbols clinking 360 degrees around you…Dunn’s bass reverberating throughout the room…and Patton’s voice whispering and screeching at you from different speakers. Shit, I should be the one to shoot that video!

  88. Travis Says:

“shut da fuk up u little bastard brat”

yes, good, i’ll have to quote that one

  89. Mark Bowen Says:

    What’s with the nasty shit?
I actually agree with some of Star mans points. I thought Patton was beyond dressing to suit the music, y’know cooler than that. I dunno, it kinda looks a little sad, sorry but thats how I feel about it.

  90. Star A . Dreamer Says:

Man, this is too much, i never wanted this to be happenin, but, if i give up now and turn my back to the way i think it would be wrong, even if it is about Patton. All started with this pascal guy who still doesn´t get it, i mean, where the hell is freedom of expression what pope is talkin about??, i´ve readed too many hate of this guy, alot of people who doesn´t like P.T at all and he is opposin to that fact, wich maybe can be only an opinion like any other, but that opinion MUST be respected. i mean, he say why the fuk Patton or anyone else should care about that opinions, but man, ask to urself, why should this people consider ur obssesed and inconditional support to any thing that Patton do??, thiago, asscal, martha, ipecac imposter, me and the list goes on…….., man, i like u, but it really piss me off that anytime i read an opinion wich goes against P.T u come from the nowhere and start with ur speech. Like asscal said, u must accept it, deal with it and respect it NO MATTER WHAT, please man, am askin u, for the second time, quit whinnin about that, ur only makin here more enemies.
About the turntable thing, i didnt knew it, as alot of other people, and i apologize for that, the thing is that maybe i was pissed off for the other thing, and i didnt wanted to see it, maybe i gotta see it personally, but if u insist that this thing exist, i will believe it.

Travis, i dont even know who u are, but i wont keep this shit continues, i don´t care what u think man, but keep in mind that am not the only one around here who thinks the same way i do, u started this stupid disscussion and am gonna give u the chance to end it, think about it.

Pampered, i swear i didn´t readed ur last post, and dont even mind cuz i wont read it in the near future either, dont waste ur time anymore, as an advice.

    Peace for all…… :P

  91. Pampered Dangle Says:

    Hey Star,

I’m sure you’re “not” reading my posts, but just for the records, my last post wasn’t tearing you apart. It was backing up your opinion, while separating it from the oversite of Patton’s history.

    Your friend forever,

    PD

  92. The Pope Says:

Hey and thats pope with a capital “P”

  93. JackAsscal Says:

Sad to hear about the DVD being so dissapointing :(
Us FNM fans hardly get any treats, not to mention Bungle fans. We were off to a good start with the bonus Who Cares a Lot, but ever since just recycled Greatest Hits albums, and when finally some DVD action is going on, it’s without any real investment in it, just trying to cash in some more.
What about a couple of live FNM albums plus some rarities, with a nice little booklet with pictures and stories? What about a box set of un released, live and demo stuff by Bungle?
Fans of those bands really bite the big one.

  94. mcferglestein Says:

Man, you guys need to learn how to spell properly. There is a HUGE difference between “raper” and “rapper”. As far as I know, Mike hasn’t forced anyone to have sex with him against their will except that poor kid in Firecracker.

  95. Mark Bowen Says:

Yeah Don – I agree with the Ipecac live dvds idea, especially for Fantomas – I guess it’s just too expensive for the label to produce them and guarantee a large return. I aways thought it would’ve been cool if Fantomas had used visuals live to go with the music – y’know, screens up with images and film footage. Patton spends a lot of time on album artwork – would be good to see some of those ideas used for live shows.

  96. The Pope, Rome Says:

Do you know that on the back of a packet of Golden Wonder Wheetos they tell you that if you email them with a suggestion of a new flavour they’ll make it if there is enough demand.
Why won’t record companies work this way!!? Who can we petition for a live/rarety/behind the scenes FNM, Bungle or Tomahawk DVD to be made?
We could set up a website for people to sign!
Let be “pro active” as my manager is always banging on at me to be!

  97. Mark Bowen Says:

I’d sign it!! – D’ya get the feeling you’d be wasting your time tho? hmmm – God bless Golden Wonder:)

  98. RaDiCaL Says:

Why you are all whining about the DVD, if you think that is a bad idea bringing it to life, like me, then why you support the morons who made it buying the damn thing??, i don´t understand. I think the best way to let them know that we think that it is a bad idea, is not buy a damn thing, that way they will ask to himselfs: “what the fuck is happening??, why FNM fans dont buy the shit we made??, maybe we did something wrong, maybe is not what they really want, let´s search for a live show that is not yet in official records and lets make a good complement with interviews and great pictures and storys of the band”.

I dunno, maybe great shows like bizzarre festival where Mr. Bungle played once in 2000, that is an awesome concert, and am sure not too many people has seen it yet, that would be fucking nice!!!

  99. The Pope Says:

RaDiCaL, I’ve not bought it because it’s not available in the UK and I haven’t got a region 1 player and I also have the two on VHS seperately. If it was available i’d still buy it cos a) its on dvd so better quality and b) because it would help let the companies who make such things know that there is an audience who will buy this stuff even though it’s (FNM) over ten years old and stuff thats been out before. If they know that then surely they may have half a brain and consider releasing more stuff thats never been released cos it will sell even more. It’s not a hard concept. If nobody bought it then “they” would assume that there is no market and that further releases would be a waste of their money producing them cos noones going to buy it. Best of albums have been milked for all their worth and I agree its best not to buy them cos that is just rip off merchants
taking the piss. Everyone’s got the music and no matter how many different themes for a collection they come up with its the same stuff we’ve all heard already. Live footage however is new (there must be hundreds of hours somehere) so why not sell that? The penny must drop at some point. So lets give them a nudge with a petition. But tp who??

  100. Don Says:

It’s a complicated intelectual property rights issue. It might very well be the case that no one at the moment has the right to release live FNM recordings. If that’s the case, you would probably have to get the cooperation of the original band members, or, if it’s a post-Martin gig, the cooperation of whatever guitarist was touring with them at that time. Then you have to have new contracts created that partition the royalties. All of this requires the work of attornys, agents, managers and the artists themselves…all of which costs money and all of which would have to be factored in to the estimate of how much money needs to be recouped before any label gets a penny…and that’s assuming that there won’t be a legal battle between former labels that formerly had the rights to FNM’s music, claiming a superior right based on some vague, ambiguous wording in an old contract. My bet is, it’s all just too much of a potentially expensive headache to even look into and we should just be content with the bootlegs that float around for free.
On the other hand, focusing efforts on getting live recordings of bands that, at least theoretically, still exist (i.e. Fantomas, Tomahawk…and maybe General Patton and Kaada) would be far less expensive and far less prone to litigation.
Take, for example, the approach that bands like Ween and Pearl Jam have taken with regards to their live recordings: From what I understand, both bands have made it part of their routine to make quality recording of all of their shows and make them available to their fans, for a minimal cost that they still make a profit on because they retained the live recording rights and can destribute the CD’s or MP3′s without a middle-man…something that, I think, would pose no problem for the Patton-affiliated bands I earlier mentioned since they are all from the same label and Patton is a co-owner of that label.
In fact, I can’t think of a single reason, from a money standpoint, why Ipecac hasn’t tried this already…considering that there is no studio related expenses to recoup with a live release, it’s fucking money in the bank. Which makes me feel that there is probably a non-money reason behind Ipecac not releasing this stuff; namely, for whatever reason, Patton doesn’t want to. I mean, it’s a little strange that after almost two decades of playing live shows, aside from the Zorn stuff (which I bet Patton agrees to as a favor to Zorn…those live recording are about the only thing that keeps Tzadik from going bankrupt) the only official live release has been You Fat Bastrd…it’s gotta be because Patton just doesn’t want to. Which, you know, sucks.

  101. Star A . Dreamer Says:

That´s a good point don, maybe instead readin interviews with his live in italy, how did he got in contact with norah jones for the peeping tom record and that crap, he should be asked about this, the possibility that Patton doesn´t want to release some live performance related with his works on ipecac it´s intact, the damn question is why??.

In the other hand, about FNM live DVD show release it´s a bit more complicated than that, seeing it from your point of view, however, i think puffy, billy, roddy and the guitar player of turn for that times, should have disposition to cooperate, since it´s not something we want, it´s something we NEED, i really doubt they don´t have mercy toward us for that issue, off course that´s not enough too see it come to life one day……fukin lawyers!!!!!!

  102. The Pope Says:

Thanks Don, its sheds some light on the subject and it obviously isn’t black and white. Damn, now I’m more depressed !!!
I’m sure Jim Martin must be short of a bob or two and wouldn’t say no to a few quid.

  103. Pascal Chimbonda Says:

I’ve tried to post this twice but it’s been blocked by the moderator….here goes a third time!!!!

    Possibly Patton’s wife……..

    http://www.scang.spb.ru/fotos/Tusovki/15.jpg

    Definitely Patton’s dad (Patrick)…..

    mikepatton.tribe.net/photos/c5bfc121-a653-472c-8b43-ab11adea1355

  104. Pascal Chimbonda Says:

Yay, it got through…..but the links are dodgy now!!

Try this one for (supposedly) Patton’s wife:

    http://106fm.co.il/Files/PicArcive/lady_t3.jpg

Just paste the other URL for Patton’s dad into your address bar!!!

  105. wowee Says:

Pat Patton…Don’t think I ever heard of a funnier name.
    Pascal, are you from Israel?

  106. The Pope Says:

    Urgh she’s a bit of a minger !
He looks a bit like his dad – he was a high school sports coach wasn’t he ?

  107. Mark Bowen Says:

Yep – Wasn’t A Small Victory about his Dad being a Sports coach? something like that.

  108. Pascal Chimbonda Says:

As I said earlier, it’s only “supposedly” Titi Zuccatosta (Patton’s wife)!!!

I read another comment from someone who “supposedly” lived opposite Patton in Bologna (he’s sold up now!), who said she was the woman in the Video Croissant footage where Roddy is talking about “putting a gerbil up your butt for sexual pleasure” (to which she replies “LIE!”)….remember???

His wife is an artist and was credited on the Maldoror and Suspended Animation albums as “TT”.

    I also found out……

    - Mother: Sarah (Social worker)
    - Father: Patrick (Basketball coach, Eureka High)
    - Brother: Kevin (Policeman)

  109. The Pope Says:

Yeah I think that (about A Small Victory) is on the great (!) FNM website where Mike says what certain songs are about.
I bet his mam’s disturbed when she hears him singing about making love to concrete and swimming in lakes of blood!!
    Maybe she should visit him!

  110. Mark Bowen Says:

Well Pope I’m not so sure – I read an interview with Matt Wallace, where he was at a FNM concert sitting with Pattons parents and Patton said something pretty obscene about them on stage, Matt wallace turned to them and said “How does it make you feel when he says stuff like that” to which his smiling Dad replied “Well where d’ya think he learnt that kind of stuff from!”.

  111. Star A . Dreamer Says:

Yeahh, the perfect family LOL, what is the name of his dog anyway??

  112. The Pope Says:

Wow! His policeman brother must be the black sheep !

  113. Pascal Chimbonda Says:

Now you know where he got all his police gear from for Tomahawk and Bungle!!!!

  114. Maya Says:

…and he wears his uniform on tomahawk concerts hahaha

  115. Maya Says:

Talking about moderation, my comment was too slow again hahaha

  116. Mictlante Says:

  117. Maya Says:

  118. Maya Says:
