John Zorn: Astronome [#7359]
“Zorn continues his intense new rock direction with a second release by the dynamic all star trio from his acclaimed song suite Moonchild to present an intense and mysterious tale of magic and alchemy. Featuring the mad vocal wizardry of Mike Patton singing in preverbal language accompanied by long time cohort Trevor Dunn on electric bass and Joey Baron on drums, this is Zorn at his edgy and uncompromising best. An opera of unbridled madness and complexity that will make your jaw drop. Recorded and mixed by the radical posse of musical terrorist Bill Laswell.”
Mike is on the cover of the latest issue of Rock-A-Rolla magazine: www.rock-a-rolla.com
A recent interview on a Belgian radio station with Mike Patton can be found here:

The DJ showcases several Patton-related tunes before interviewing the man himself & playing 3 songs of his choice. Enjoy!
Mike Patton is organizing few dates for his friends at The Stone in NYC, the space John Zorn created to promote experimental and avantgarde music. It is not mentioned if Mike will be there too (on stage) but after seeing which bands will perform at the end of october it’s quite easy to say that he could make some guest appearences.
