    that’s fuckin sweet!

  3. Tido Fuentez Says:

Takes 2 guys to cover a mike patton song…no surprise

  4. kent Says:

tido, you’re such a patton ass kisser. i know that either vocalists could have sang the entire song, but made it this way for the effect. and its awesome.

  5. B.R. Says:

Yikes! This sucks. I love the song, not this version.
The beauty to Faith No More was their tongue in cheek aproach to rock music. These guys took themselves way too seriously when arranging this cover.

  6. Kuno Says:

haha, what a laugh! is that serious?

  7. RaDiCaL DuDe Says:

Ok, sounds well, but it´s not for me, i guess that´s why never liked deftones at all, even if Chino moreno is friend of some ex-FNM people, but it´s a good start.

  8. Omniwan Says:

I don’t think its that great. I love the deftones but Ill Nino are poor imo

  10. 4degrees Says:

Its an ok cover…but I dont remember Zombie Eaters being a hardcore song with a bunch of roaring screams that and average male can do. RAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWR lol. The original is better.

  11. kakemonsteret Says:

    yeah, b.r.
    this version sucks ass!

deftones sucks as well, i threw up after seeing them @ roksilde this year..

  12. Ryan O'Reilly Says:

Why don’t all these 3/4 length shorts wearing, goatee sporting, Patton/Kiedis wannabes take a run and jump off of something very high up? So many of thes bands have openly admitted to being massively influenced by FNM, but as Patton himself has said, “Why don’t they do something with it?”. It’s 2006 Godammit! Funk metal (choke!) & rap metal are dead and buried. Why would anyone still want to sound like Mordred or some other band from yesteryear who were shit in the 1st place?

    Always forward and never back.

    yawn.

    ryan: right on, brother.

    die goatee aggro/hardcore. die

  15. 4degrees Says:

    are u crazy?
rap metal and funk metal are still alive and kicking. turn off ur FM radio.

  16. Mike (not Patton) Says:

Man, what happened to the odd-timings!? They just made everything 6/8. That’s like hearing Musak, for Christ’s sake.

  17. erin Says:

jeeez….what’s the bfd anyway? it’s cool to actually hear a decent and not so retarded sounding cover. whodathunk that a popular band would even consider a fnm song. face it kids, fnm is not god. they inspired more bad musicians than good. ;)

  18. The Pope Says:

I thought ILL NINO was a tidal wave that came every 7 years.
Bands will take their name from anything nowadays

  19. Caralho Voador Says:

Ill nino is even worst than george michael

  20. www.myspace.com/lerdoband Says:

    i prefer the original.
in covers of FNM i prefer the one tatha tub ring did and 36 crazyfists.

  21. heh Says:

    Excellent cover, I like it!

  22. Karey Says:

Agreed, the original is preferred. However, it is great the FNM has so greatly influenced others.

  23. Mark Bowen Says:

…what? to play badly… I don’t understand it, what a pile of watered down shit.

  24. MATIVS Says:

Man i hope they re-record all FNM songs…. and try to copy the originals as close as they possibly can! What a showy display of extreme lack of talent and musicianship…not to mention originality. What a waste of my time.

  25. lastpulse Says:

I don’t even think that is Chino Moreno on vocals. It sure as hell doens’t sound like him. I listen to Deftones quite often.. Often enough to recognize his voice and that is not him on any of the vocals.

I much prefer the original over this… Ill Nino sounds like a real crappy band to me. It would be cool if people redid songs and added their own style to it instead of just trying to make it sound exactly like the original version. Where is the creativity in this….

  26. thebign Says:

wow there are a lot of wet blankets here. so they covered a song by a band that influenced them…. so what? even if you think it’s complete garbage, what’s the worst that could happen? introduce a younger generation of kids to FNM? oh no! sorry to all the pretentious snobs who like to “keep” bands to themselves, but your favorite band isn’t yours to be kept. it doesn’t make you cool or hip. it just makes you a jerk. you know i like FNM too but they’re not gods. covering them shouldn’t be some sort of sacrilegious act. please grow up.

  27. MAYA Says:

what’s wrong with you mativs, karaoke fan or something?? hahaha

  28. Leftie* Says:

I’ve never been a fan of Chino’s screams.

It’s ok until Chino opens his mouth. :p

    -Leftie*

  29. shey Says:

Chino is a god, any song he does and or has a hand in is RIGHT! leftie u must have broken ear’s. the song is on it.

  30. meatpan Says:

    Its not Chino singing.

  31. jt Says:

    It is Chino.

As far as I can tell, this is everything Chino says from the beginning (they essentially switch off every line). You can tell it’s his singing voice because he voice tends to crack a little bit and the lack of the accent. I might be off, but I think it’s pretty close.

    You’re everything
That’s why I cling to you
    ——–
    The world is so small
    Compared to you
    ——–
I begin to see through your eyes
    ——–
    So now, you listen
    Cuz I’m omniscient
    ——–
    You’re lucky to have me
I’m cute and sweet as candy
    ——–
So hug me and kiss me
Then wipe my butt and piss me
    ——–
    Nobody understands
Except the toys in my hands
    ——–
    Hey look at me lady
    I’m just a little baby
    ——–
    I melt in your mouth
And in your hands whenever I can
    ——–
I like to make a mess
    I laugh at your distress
    ——–
    I’m helpless
    I’m flawless
    ——–
    Keep me hot
    Keep me strong
Keep me everlong (third and fourth times)
    ——–
    So now you listen
Cuz I’m omniscient (sung with Ill Nino guy)

  32. Papas Smurf Says:

    wht fucn rttards

why did i mispell that? because thats what i think of 30% of these comments,

    1. not a bad cover
    2. they overdid it with the screaming
    3. chino is in the background in some parts
    4. chino’s voice is more fuked than ever!
    5. the original is the best

  33. Joshua Perdue Says:

This isn’t all that bad at all. I hate all “nu-metal” and how those guys have borrowed from FNM to much media acclaim and cash, but this cover isn’t awful. I was fairly excited about the FNM covers album that never happened, including Disturbed’s “Midlife Crisis”. Anybody got a boot of that?

  34. heh Says:

I would have loved to see the major label FNM cover album surface a few years ago, not sure why it never happened. The independent label tribute album sucked balls aside from maybe 3-5 songs…which were basically “okay”.

  35. mr bunglist Says:

Great cover, I hate when covers are trying to be identical, these guys put in their own styles, kept it interesting line by line, I mean two singers, that’s a good idea. I love the screams, it gave the song something I wish it originally had. Not crazy with the way the guitars sounded, because of the effect they used took away from the “feeling” it originally had, (or maybe Jim Martin is just the shit) but I liked the distortion, it was decent. And the tribal sound they added was way sick. All in all It’s not about what bands who covered it, and what you think of them, It’s about the actual song. Everybody else are just haters, this is some good shit guys.
