i’m just curious to know what the hell “Trevor Dunn’s Schemes of Omission” is. he’s been talking on his website’s Q&A about writing some pop songs and he’d said elsewhere about toying with some new “band” ideas, knowing the sort of shows that happen at The Stone i imagine he won’t be playing pop songs though.

I saw the Broken Arm Trio last night. How amazing! Outdoor concert in the courtyard of a 17th century villa just outside Milan. 7 Euros to get in. 100 people at the most and the most wonderful music I’ve heard in ages played by truly outstding musicians…
Not to mention the fact that after the concert all the musicians were very good in having a chat to people, signing autographs, having pictures taken and generally being very nice and polite. WOW!
Tonight I’m off to Salsomaggiore where some american guy called Mike Patton is playing an outdoor free concert of all italian songs from the ’50s and ’60s. Who does he think he is?????
A “real” cv weekend

Oh GOD, I hope the Moonchild dates are for real. I am dying to see that stuff “live”!

July 9th had been canceled but the 10th, which should be amazing is at the Spitz and I found out tickets are on sale here http://www.wegottickets.co.uk I saw Othin Spake in a festival in Belgium once and they were amazing so I’m sure they’ll rock much more even with Dunn and Shelley Burgon (who I believe is also his girlfriend)..
