epic sounds corny, but from out of nowhere is really striking a chord to me

Yeah, nice take on From Out Of Nowhere. Good guitar work on Epic, but you just can’t take those lyrics seriously (in contrast to the guitar). Classic cheesy scandavian vocals there. Shame they didn’t do anything from either Angel Dust or KFAD – that would have been better than epic as they sound like a good combo. Imagine something like Smaller and Smaller or Ricochet done ala Nick Drake style?! (for those who know the mighty Drake). I did my own accoustic version of the song King For A Day a few years ago, worked nicely just guitar and vocals (if only the vocals were a tad better, but it’s an easier Patton song than most!)

    Rubbish, totally cringeworthy…

Sorry but these guys just don’t get it right in my opinion.

from out of.. reminds me how great this band was. totally ahead of its time (b4 jim martin got kicked out – lost their volatile melodic chemistry) i met them a few time on the angel dust tout in the UK. all individual great guys and they were even greater as a sum of their parts.

just make another album. get in the studio and do it. we will all thank you!
