But then, that’s coming from someone with the handle “Roddy’s Bottum” so best taken with a gallon of salt eh?

You know the whole performance Billy is just thinking to himself, “God! I need to call Mike Patton!!!”

Did it ever occur to you that maybe Billy has a musical life outside of Mike Patton? They haven’t been musically involved in almost a decade… his approach is a lot different, a lot less avant-garde and more focused around energy & intensity in music, as well as the whole label promotion of foreign bands in the states. It’s illogical and stupid to calibrate him to the same standards as the whole Ipecac culture.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe I was joking?
Jesus Christ don’t take something so serious.

I agree,we all know Billy’s musical roots with the likes of Brujeria, but he is the guy who dressed up in a bumble bee outfit on “The Word” a few years back to perform Everything’s ruined so hes obviously got a sense of humour, think he’d like the Patton gag himself..you start getting serious you disappear your your own arse!

The amount of pretension I display is directly proportional to the dematerialisation of my buttocks…

I dunno about Patton, but Billy needs to call Roddy and get something happening.
Most people focus on Patton, but the real brilliance of FNM was bound up in those 2.

You’re only half right, Devnull, since Roddy had minimal input in FNM songs after “Introduce Yourself”. Main men of FNM, creatively, were Billy and Patton. Ask Bill, he’ll tell you the same. But if you’re not talking bout creative side of FNM, then I’ll bail.
