hmm, not a lot of chat on this one. I guess his remaining lemmings got turned off by this one and took off. I’ll be the first to comment on this video… PUSSY!

When there is not a lot of news, I like to play with my neighbor’s balls. One time I even shaved them for him. I wear gloves, is this still considered gay?

  5. MAYA Says:

    What’s wrong with Patton???

  6. planetmaker Says:

Oh dear, he really doesn’t give a toss does he ?

Whens this 60′s italian pop abum out?

Or peepingtom minus the white suit, hair net and naff pop references.

He needs a FNM reunion *sigh*

  7. MAYA Says:

Hm…he needs someone to tell him that this is JUST NOT RIGHT!!!! what about MR.bungle, Fantomas, that’s just memory, Tomahawk sucks, 60′s Italian songs…WTF??!!!!

  8. planetmaker Says:

MP is/has recorded an album of 60′s Italian “pop” I hear – which personally I am looking forward to…..
    :p

  9. portly jim Says:

I’ve heard the 60s pop thing, in live form. It’s good!

And yes, I agree that this Julia thing is not good. But hey, it’s just a one-off for shits and giggles. And those two are clearly gettin it oan.

AND it has been around for months and months, hence the lack of excitement around here.

But NO fnm reunion. NO WAY MISTER.

  10. MAYA Says:

I’ve been in Italy on concert (60′s songs), and since that show I see Patton differently- I mean in a BAD way. sorry.

  11. Zira Says:

Man does what he likes, you can’t blame him for that. He is an artist after all and a different one than he used to be.

  12. Steve Says:

How about some Fantomas, >>>>>>new Lovage

  13. hammerman Says:

judging by the respite patton manages to garner everytime he changes his musical style just goes to show that once you come into the public eye its tough doing what you want to do. the man is an artist and music is his form of expression. unfortunatley he cant express himself without people passing judgement because by default as a “celebrity” he has an “obligation” to his “fans and critics”. I guess that comes with the job…wow that was heavy! my head hurts….

  14. Planetmaker Says:

    hmm, yeah ^

Yes, Lovage has to be the way forward.

Or a FNM video game ha ha

  15. Mike (not Patton) Says:

Hey guys, I didn’t know where else to post this but thought you might find interest in it…

Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater drummer) was asked to list his top ten favorite albums and this is one of his quotes:

“Next will be the first self titled Mr Bungle album (1991). The first time I heard it, it scared the crap out of me, it was like a sonic nightmare; it was like if you took the movie Eraserhead and made an album out of that mood, this is what it would be. It was taking every form of music from metal to ska to punk to prog and put it all together and it was this big hodgepodge of riffs and styles and Mike Patton was the ultimate chameleon to voice it all. And also the production and the collaboration with John Zorn was pretty amazing because he added a whole other element of avant-garde to this album. If Frank Zappa had made a metal album, this is what it would have been.”

When I saw Dream Theater at the Orpheum in Boston during their Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence tour, they actually had Disco Volante playing over the speakers before they came on stage.

    Cool shit.

  16. corym Says:

The hat makes him look very Felix-from-The-Cat-Empire-ish.

  17. MAYA Says:

He doesn’t have any obligations, we just want cool music that he use to make. that’s it. no heavy shit :)

  18. patredux Says:

Maya, expound please on your waivering Patton fanship.

I have the same feeling after going and seeing him in PT and moonchild. Enough of this experimental crap.

And this European cancelation of PT was due to the lack of interest in PT. I know he does’nt like that, maybe the message will sink in that people don’t like his produced music.

    Mike

  19. MAYA Says:

patredux: It just happened when I was on 60′s shit songs concert, and after that on Sleepytime Gorilla Museum concert 2X, I just think that THAT’s music and THAT’s relationship with fans. The rest is history.

  20. portly jim Says:

The Moonchild gig I went to was THE BUSINESS and no mistake. And each album in that trilogy was better than the one before it. The third, ‘…Heliogabalus’, is just an amazing piece of work.

More ‘experimental crap’ and ‘heavy shit’ like that please!

But yeah, I agree that Sleepytime pretty much rule all. ‘In Glorious Times’ is the album of the year. No lie.

  21. patredux Says:

But yeah, I agree that Sleepytime pretty much rule all. ‘In Glorious Times’ is the album of the year. No lie.

looks like you just made my agruement for me. Yeah it’s all great and good till you think back to what we had before. Like I said you can have all this experimental crap with no catalist other than the next time change or blood curdling scream. I’ll take a line from Bungle themselves, BORRRRRINGGGGGGG HAHAHAHAHHHAAA BORRRINGGGGGG. It’s become redundant er i mean BORRRINGGGGGG.

    Mike

  22. portly jim Says:

Nah, bollocks. Make your own arguments rather than perverting mine.

Just because Sleepytime was my favourite record this year and is a totally exceptional, peerless piece of work doesn’t mean that Heliogabalus was far behind or is in any way boring or makes me miss ‘what we had before’. I miss nothing!

So let me state this clearly so you don’t misunderstand me again:

    HELIOGABALUS. IS. REALLY. REALLY. GOOOOOOD.

Not ‘it’ll do because we don’t have FNM anymore…boo hoo’. It’s a really great album on its own terms.

But if you don’t dig it, that’s fine. Your loss. Me, I’m quite happy for Patton & Baron & Dunn to work with Zorn every other weekend if they’re going to produce top-notch stuff like that.

  23. patredux Says:

I’m not living in the past, I just think Patton’s tallent is being wasted on too much experimental when it could be used for more linear stuff. I know PT was a slap in his face, and in a lot of ways he’s lost touch.

And you’re saying that what he’s produced lately is anyway as good as what was produced in the 90′s? I say bollucks to that. Sure there’s glimpses and gems here and there, but as a whole, it’s nothing but mental masterbation.

    Mike

  24. patredux Says:

Like when good dogs do bad things. Now that’s what Patton could do for a whole album, expand that sound for 8 songs and it’s another classic much like AD. Tomahawk is a sad attempt at it. I guess I’m a victim of his genious if anything, and wanting more of the same.

    Mike

  25. MAYA Says:

    Patredux, thank you.

  26. planetmaker Says:

    Well said fella

  27. flesh Says:

im glad to see that not everyone blindly follows patton. hes lost it….he was once a legend.. now he is shit and this fucking video proves that.. (not to mention peeping tom, his piles of experimental crap, lovage and even tomahawks newest album). the arrogant spoiled faggot should really get off his high horse, beg and suck the dicks of the former faith no more members for a reunion.he ows jim martin a rim job on top of the dick sucking.. like mike bordin once said” mike can play in as many bands as he wishes, but they will only remember him as the x-vocalist of faith no more”… he pretty much figuratively blew diarrhea in the face of mike patton with that statement.. because, its more or less true…. fuck you patton, what the fuck are you doing ruining your name and letting real fans down you shithead???

  28. Mike (not Patton) Says:

I don’t understand what the previous comment is about whatsoever. While I agree that Faith No More or Bungle were probably his best projects, have you even considered what HE himself thinks about the music??? What if he likes his new stuff better? No matter what ANYONE says, we will never know the truth to this. Mike Bordin’s statement about people remembering Patton mostly as the FNM singer might be true but has no fucking bearing on ANYTHING. SO WHAT!?!!? What does fame have to do with how much you enjoy a piece of music? To use OTHER people’s opinions to back up some point you’re trying to make on your own is fucking weak as shit.

I feel bad for you and hope someday you can get out of that pre-teen grade-school mentality of caring so much about what your class thinks of you more than what YOU think of you.

  29. Nimmo Says:

Yeah! What the FUCK are you doing Patton, letting you real bigot fans down! And ruining Your Own fucking name! You Suck Patton! You Fucking Suck! Do you think your name’s actually Mike Patton when you walk around the streets with your fuckin brand new Angel Dust Top on Flesh? You should change your name to ‘Felch’, you Fuck.

  30. flesh Says:

hey mike, i dont give a fuck what he thinks about his music you prick. why the fuck should i?… i care what i think of it being the listner…..and i think that its shit and nowhere near on par with the old stuff he contributed to… so i do agree with mike bordin (am i not allowed to? lol ), many people do and it has nothing to do with fame either you dork. its a fact… to even relate me to high school shows that you’re a dumb young fucker that got into patton post bungle and fnm. therefor, your words are meaningless in this conversation as far as im concerned. iv been a faith no more fan since the mosley days, i grew up with this band, and bungle you patton fanboy drone bitch……. nimmo.. you dumb cocksucker, i had an angel dust top in 93, when i was 16. you fuck… you must be feelin real dumb now…..the problem with you patton drone bitches is that , you got into patton suddenly, and clustered the old works with the new and think that they’re all amazing and works of a genius… NO, patton was from another era, one that you haven’t lived through and dont know of, he shat on what he was to adopt to the new lame generation.. namely, to all of you young losers who are 20 and below.. he sold out in my books, and iv been there from the beggining. so again, my statement has more credebility than all of your young, faggot fanboy rants do.

  31. portly jim Says:

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!!

Credibility. Jeez. What are you on?

I’m older than you, and have been a fan for just as long. By your demented logic that means I have even more credibility than you. (And unlike you, I can spell credibility. Extra points for me.) Therefore, can I tell you that you’re talking crap? I can? Excellent.

‘Sold out’… What the hell are you talking about? The man just does his own thing, like always. Either you keep up and dig it or you don’t and get left behind, pining for the 1990s like a lsot dog for its kennel. If you don’t dig it, then listen to something you do like, rather than endlesly bitching on about the people that do appreciate it.

I’d be willing to bet $50 that you’re one of those geniuses who goes to every single Patton gig, despite professing to hate whatever the latest project is, and spends his time shouting for ‘Epic’ and ‘Girls of Porn’.

  32. mm Says:

    FAITH NO MORE SUCKS!!!!

  33. Mike (not Patton) Says:

Ah, Flesh, I see the psycho-analytical content just begging to be addressed. It sucks turning 30, doesn’t it? I’m sorry that you feel old, buddy, but just face the facts…your best years are behind you (just like Patton). It’s all downhill from here. Life passed you by. Fall in. It’s over.

  34. planetmaker Says:

It’s just like a soap opera this!

Relax, chill out. You like what you like.
I prefere FNM (but like bits of his new stuff )and I hope they will return…but I’m not going to start screaming about it.

    Life’s not so serious!

  35. portly jim Says:

    Yes it is!

Oh no, you’re right. It’s really, really not.

  36. planetmaker Says:

    Amen!

    Do I have another?

  37. Mike (not Patton) Says:

    Right HERE!!

That time your grandma died was hilarious!

  38. Planetmaker Says:

    Get in!

    Nimmo and Flesh?

  39. Laquer Says:

Well the debate seems to have subsided. All I can say is Mike Patton hasn’t been the same since “Give it Away” and “Under the Bridge”.

  40. planetmaker Says:

    zzzzzzzz……….

  41. MAYA Says:

    Laquer: ??????

  42. Laquer Says:

Well his work has taken a bit of a downturn since “Blood, Sugar…….” really hasn’t it?

  43. Planetmaker Says:

I think he’s trying to be funny and say MP is an AK clone. How wrong can he be…zzzzzz

  44. Laquer Says:

No I was making a joke out of that old feud thingy. Not big. Not clever. I was just kidding though. I’m looking forward to some new Patton-related music, he’s been a bit quiet recently though. I would love to see a Peeping Tom album with a bit more focus than the first one, and maybe with a few more twists and turns. Maybe an Outkast collaboration too. Ah well a man can dream

  45. MAYA Says:

I won’t say what I want him to do, I just don’t like him any more. I think his inspiration ends with X-ecutioners or Lovage…that was cool, but from there it was just….I don’t know how to put it… WHATEWER. We all waiting for something… but he doesn’t care, he’s got enough money to do what he wants, so…I think it’s over.

  46. MAYA Says:

    …and Laquer…you’re funny :)

  47. Planetmaker Says:

Wasn’t there supposed to be another Lovage album coming up?

Or did I just dream it?

  48. Nimmo Says:

Sucked in about tshirts. I knew it you fuckin clown. You’re old school man. Respect.

  49. patredux Says:

This thing still work *tap tap*

Hey Maya (you’ll never see this) seems that money tree stopped getting watered :)
