Looking to contribute?

Sunday, February 26th, 2006

As most of you have noticed, CV hasn’t been very active recently. That’s mostly because this is a one man show and that one man is very busy. So that’s why I am now looking to open this up to allow more people to contribute. I will be doing this in phases. First I want just a handful of people, maybe 5 or 6 to test it out and see if it’ll work. Do you want to be one of the first? Then send me an email explaining why you think you would be a good contributor to CV.

Plans for 2006

Wednesday, December 28th, 2005

There has been quite a lull around here lately, but fear not, a lot is planned for 2006.

For one, I will finally merge CV Beta with the rest of the site for a more cohesive user experience. Some pieces will get dropped, some will get added, and some will be completely rewritten. And when the Ipecac Recordings site redesign happens (also planned for 2006), their news will be rolled into my news via web feeds. Additionally, I hope to have more non-Ipecac news so this site doesn’t just display stale, duplicated content.

I am also completely open to any and all suggestions for things you would like to see on this site, so leave a comment and I’ll see what I can do.

Syndication

Sunday, August 7th, 2005

One of the many reasons I switched Caca Volante to use blog software was for syndication. For those of you that use syndication software, you can subscribe to this site using RSS 2.0, RSS 0.92, or Atom 0.3 feeds.

Also, as a hidden benefit of Ipecac Recording using Google Groups for their announcement lists, you can now subscribe to Atom feeds for the lists. There is a feed for the news updates and a feed for the calendar updates.

Rebirth

Tuesday, August 2nd, 2005

Welcome to Caca Volante Beta! The format of the Caca Volante website was already very blog-like, so I’ve decided to take that leap and make it an actual blog. This quickly takes care of two things that I’ve had on my To-Do list for a long time: RSS Feeds and Comments.

Please bear with me as I get things set-up and converted over to this new format.
